Festival \u2013 Halloween!\u201c is a collaborative prerecorded (not live) audio play festival produced by the Cary Playwrights\u2019 Forum and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greensboro-nc.gov\/departments\/creative-greensboro\/creative-greensboro-presents\/playwrights-forum\">Greensboro Playwrights\u2019 Forum<\/a>. The plays are fully-produced using local voice talent and fully-produced sound effects, and released on the CPF Radio Hour podcast site (<a href=\"https:\/\/cpfradiohour.podbean.com\/\">https:\/\/cpfradiohour.podbean.com\/<\/a>). The radio plays were released in phases, premiering on October 10<sup>th<\/sup>, October 17<sup>th<\/sup>, October 24<sup>th<\/sup>, and October 31<sup>st<\/sup>. All were out before the very scary date of Nov 3 2020 \ud83d\ude42\r\n\r\nThe theme for this year\u2019s festival is <em>Halloween<\/em> \u2013 every script has elements of fantasy, horror, or the supernatural.\r\n\r\nThe NC Radio Play Festival marks the first major collaboration between the Greensboro Playwrights\u2019 Forum and the Cary Playwrights\u2019 Forum. The radio-play format (&#8220;Theatre of the Mind&#8221;) allows playwrights to tell stories beyond what is normally practical for stage productions, unrestricted in scope and limited only by imagination.\r\n\r\nAll plays will be available indefinitely.
